About Us

Campus School is located in the lap of lush green campus of Asia’s First Agriculture University i.e G.B.Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Distt. U.S. Nagar, Uttarakhand. It is situated at 15 Km. east from Rudrapur, 14 Km North from Kichha and 25 Km South from Haldwani. It was established by the then Hon’able Vice-Chancellor Dr. D.P. Singh of G.B. Pant University Agri. & Tech., with the collaboration of Notre Dame Society in 1971.

Initially, the school started operating in a wing of Home Science College with 125 Students on roll, ranging from Montessori to IV. Sr. Mary Laurette joined as the first Principal in 1971 followed by Sr. Vimla in 1976 and Sr. Vijaya in 1981 as Principal. In May 1984, the sisters left Pantnagar and the Management was passed on to a committee with the Vice-Chancellor as Patron.

Change of guard took place with the appointment of Mr. Joseph John as the Principal in May 1984. Another milestone in the history of the Campus School was the introduction of plus 2 classes in the same year. The wheel of success rolled on ever since producing excellent results year after year. The strength touched an all time high during the 90’s. In Sept. 2003, Mr. Kukreti took over as the Principal and the school got greatly benefited by his vast experience. In the wake of his resignation by the then vice-principal Mrs. N. Khan officiated as the Principal and their after Dr. K.C. Tewari shouldered the responsibility for a period of four months.

Subsequently, Dr. B. C. Pathak joined the Campus School as the Principal and the breeze of monumental changes started blowing fast through the corridors of this reputed institution under his dynamic leadership, Campus School is gaining new dimensions with enhanced and updated facilities like audio - visual labs and computer labs. Now the Principal of the school is shouldered by Dr R.S. Senger, Vice-Principal of the school.

The school has progressed immensely since its inception and has continuously worked hard to provide a holistic, progressive and comprehensive education to the students including the new concepts of experiential learning, Art integrated learning, inclusive education and competency based education, initiated by CBSE.

The lush green and beautiful campus offers clean and tranquil environs, absolutely free from pollution, essential for the physical, intellectual and spiritual growth of the young inmates.
